About North Dakota Birds

The goal: to create a quality reference to the birds that can be naturally found in the state of North Dakota.

1. Photos must be taken within the state of North Dakota.
2. No zoo photos, no photos of pets.
3. Please label your photo somewhere with the bird's name and location where the photo was taken. If you have trouble identifying a bird, please use a site like www.whatbird.com to identify it.
4. No, your middle finger does not count as a "bird".
5. Post only your best quality shots (it's in focus, bird isn't too far away, etc.).
6. Try not to post a bird if a quality photo of it is already in the pool (to avoid having 50 photos of robins, etc.). But if you feel your photo is exceptional and the bird is already posted, feel free to post yours as well.
7. I might go through the pool from time to time to remove extra shots of individual species to keep the pool as small and easy-to-use as possible, so don't be offended if after a while some of your submissions are missing.
