About North Cascades National Park.
Well I have gone slightly psychotic over the North Cascades during the past few years. And it is surprising to me that there is not a group devoted to this impressive national park. Yeah, there are a couple for the north cascades in general, but I am kicking off this group for two reasons -
One ... I feel strongly about our national park system and want to highlight North Cascades National Park itself, rather than the range as a whole; and
Two ... those other groups are filled with random, sporadic, haphazard images taken from anywhere seemingly within the cascades range which includes everything from impressive landscapes to pics of someone's campsite ('not that there is anything wrong with that!').
So - with that much said this group will be a selective (uhh, read moderated) pool of the more spectacular images taken within North Cascades National Park. It has been a while since I have started a group on Flickr and I am hesitant even to start this one but we shall see how it goes. Please spare my time by only submitting your very best landscape images taken within the national park boundary.

This ... does not include Mt. Baker, The Enchantments, Snoqualmie Pass area etc. etc. etc. For a super-detailed map of the North Cascades National Park boundary check here; and
This ... does not mean uploading photos of your campsite, your dog, your buddies on the trail (unless it's an awesomely-composed photograph of them), etc. etc. etc.
Oh, and obligatory shots of the west face of Shuksan taken from a recliner with a built-in cooler across Picture Lake do not count so please, please please do not bother uploading those.

Alright, enough politics. Please join. Please submit what you think are your finest images from the backcountry, the side of the road etc. of North Cascades National Park and we shall see how fine a pool of images that we can amass.
