About A Day on North America's Rails (5 Dec 09)

A collaborative project to capture in images and words a single day of life on North America's railways: Saturday, 5 December 2009. Each photographer may contribute up to 10 images, taken between midnight along the Atlantic seaboard and midnight in Alaska. These should not be roster shots; rather, they should capture the essence of railroading in North America...people, operations, weather extremes, day and night, warm and cold, Canada to Mexico, short lines and Class Is, passenger, commuter and freight. Please include a detailed caption explaining what we are looking at (and, of course, the exact location and time of your shot).

PLEASE invite your fellow rail photographer contacts to join and participate!
