About Norfolk Churches

This is Norfolk.

Norfolk has the highest concentration of medieval buildings anywhere in northern Europe. And, let's face it, they're nearly all churches.

Here is a massive photo opportunity, a call to arms. We're not just pointing and shooting at churches here, this is a participation in a culture. Nowadays, these buildings are in the care of the Church of England, but who really owns them?

We, the people. And henceforth we brought out exteriors, interiors, details, beautiful objects and extraordinary survivals. The only rule for this group? Love what you photograph. Delight us.

And group members really need to be on the Suffolk churches list too, at - in medieval terms, the two counties are inseparable, forget football rivalry.
