About Norfolk Archaeology
This group is for images relating to the Archaeology of Norfolk, UK.
Photographs, illustrations and artwork are all welcome. There are a lot of wonderful images on flickr featuring archaeological sites in Norfolk. I am hoping this group will form a central pool for them. Please add your existing and new images to the group.
The inclusion of poetry or literary references to accompany images of Norfolk's Archaeology would also be most welcome.
Anything from ancient trees, earthworks, roman roads as they look today, barrows, ancient structures and ruins, interesting finds and objects. However if you cannot give the location, please do not post them as they may be removed, unless you are asking for help in locating them.
Please be very selective if post standing churches or their contents as they are already covered by other excellent flickr groups. Churches set in their wider historical landscape context can be included.
If contributers of images to the group would like to add descriptions of the sites or objects they post it would add to the usefulness of the site.
