About Norefjell Pictures taken on the Norefjell mountain plateau, Flå/Sigdal/Krødsherad, Buskerud, Norway. Norefjell is Oslos closest real mountain about half an hour drive west from the Norwegian capital. From wonderful Vestfold county, including beautiful Åsgårdstrand it's about two hours by car or bus. Norefjells highest peak, Gråfjell (grey mountain), is 1466m high, while the second highest, Høgevarde has southern Norways best view (about 40000 square kilometers on a clear day) Norefjell was also the host for the downhill and gian slalom events of the 1952 Oslo winter olympics.
