Remembering Noor Banu

Circumstances have caused my Dearest Friend, Noor Banu, to believe that she is utterly alone in this world. She is away from her family and friends in Dubai and is admitted to Apollo Cancer Hospital in India.



Noor needs to be the recipient of that rare, special kind of motivation that can only be experienced deep in one's Heart of hearts - Unconditional Love .. with its singular ability to kindle Hope in Humankind.

Will you take a moment to demonstrate Unconditional Love?

Noor, April 23, 2010 - the day before she experienced an emotional set back that caused her to lose Hope in Humanity...




...afterwhich exerience she quit the good fight of Faith against not only the Cancer, but the multi faceted, toxic, Cancer Treatment. Her body has, unfortunately, instantly succumbed.

Noor, today, April 29,2010 - unresponsive.

Just in: A word from efatima:
"Mom recently gave up hope after her very hard struggle with Chemo and fighting cancer. She was doing a great job.... until few days ago when she just GAVE UP. She has officially given up. She feels there is no reason to live...as she is not loved by anyone since she is terminally ill. From F&B to housekeeping to the management staff at hospital and strangers who she has never met all are trying to save mom...she just does not know it yet.... ever since that day - she has transformed into this tiny baby who i have never seen.. she is fragile, very disappointed, lost all her hope and just waiting to die.... no no no... this is not the mom who was fighting everything... and was ready to live her days doing stuff.....now her body is not supporting any food or medications.... its all being kicked out.... gosh... its like am seeing her slip right before my eyes...

There are so many people, friends and strangers out there who are going out of their way to show her how much they want her to get better and fight back to live life to its fullest. There is so much love surrounding her - and I will do everything I can to help her see it.

She is away from her family and friends in Dubai and is admitted at Apollo Hospital in India. So many people from around the world are pitching in with financial contributions and support. It breaks my heart to see such a courageous person FALL and Break into so many bits .... she is almost at the finish line.... GOD HELP ME!!!! PLEASE !!!!

Will you please help me in this struggle? -
PLEASE! ... all you have to give is 4 alphabet characters = "NOOR" !!
..and if you decide to be extra generous then give 8 alphabet characters = "NOOR BANU" !!

What you put those letters on could vary vastly:
- a little post-it note,
- a piece of 8x10 paper,
- written in sand,
- arranged with pebbles
- or just as creative as you choose to get, but its got to be a very happy fun picture ... it could even be your pet holding her name ... best of all would be if you held it extended toward her showing her that though thousands of miles apart.... you care that she LIVES!

I am having a slide show set up in her hospital room with your photos extending your support to her...






As of today, she does not have the strength to talk. She can see and hear... but is totally shattered emotionally.

Please help me... Help me SAVE my Mom.

I want to thank Katie (L8o) from the bottom of my heart for carrying on the torch for me in the West, on behalf of my family, while I sit, alone, at mom's bedside in the Middle East (India). Katie has been one of the strongest pillars of support both to me and my mom in this struggle and tirelessly continues to do so ... I am forever grateful to her unconditional love and sincere friendship.
