What is the Club's aim?
Well, first off, being a sociable and friendly club! We do many things such as lectures (both artistic and technical), image sharing evenings, competitions (some with a set theme), practicals (eg. still lifes, portraiture, mount cutting) etc. etc. We're also keen to have regular outings - basically meet up at a given place, wander around taking pictures for a couple of hours and then have a meal in a local pub before going home - very sociable fun days in our experience, and also a great way to learn from more advanced photographers.
