Gun owners & non-gun owners both are welcome to post photos promoting NO GUNS to the group, but if you are here to defend your right to OWN A GUN, this is not the place. If you persist in arguing your point of view, you will be banned.
Invite others into the group and please keep on posting your photos and add to the discussions. Let's do what we can to make this a less violent world.

About No guns
The following images are welcome; please post no more than three per day.
1)Signs and situations where guns are prohibited
2)Scenes or depictions of places where gun violence has taken its toll
3)Images that extoll an out-of-control gun culture and encourage frontier-style justice
4)Images that encourage arms control and anti-violence laws and measures
Because of a surfeit of gun zealots, handguns are still widely available in the U.S., thousands illegally, many getting into the hands of kids and unstable persons who can easily purchase one without a license. It seems that the gun culture has a stranglehold on this country, and those legislators that want to minimize the violence have an uphill battle passing and enforcing laws that outlaw the sale and possession of illegal firearms.
Photos from all countries are welcome; I find that you can sometimes appreciate a different culture by their reaction to private citizens toting guns.
Please indicate the name of the country where you took your picture and if you happen to know how to say "No guns" in any language other than English, please let us know so that we can globalize the group.
