Flickr is what it is, that's why it exists. Video is a different animal, a different aesthetic, and has a virtually unlimited number of forums that it can be channeled through. It is not necessary to open up Flickr to the masses of maniacal, and generally uncreative, individuals who seek to "entertain" us with their nonsense. Flickr's purity of purpose is sets it apart. Leave it alone.

One of the key factors to sucess in life is specializing. Flickr, you are a specialized photo community with a very special spirit for members with a common interest. Keep it that way.
Many of us stood by you with the censorship crisis - I am not so sure this time around.
Open a new portal for Videos if you like .... Vlickr maybe BUT get them off Flickr.
Keep Flickr for Photographers.
