local to me would probably be Watchung Reservation.
another favorite would be the palisades interstate park with easy access to leaves and cliffs and scenic stuff.
where do i need to get to more often? hiking the water gap area up to sunfish pond or around high point.
cheating? I want to get up to route 97 in NY along the delaware with a camera one of these days.
any southerners know about cranberry spots?

I like the LongPond Iron works at the Monksville Resevoir. Old homes, old church and the water with the trees coming out of the water. Monksville once had homes until they made it a resevoir. The Long pond ironworks still has tours and there are hiking trails
