Summer might be coming to a close, but the chance to win Purple tickets goes on!

Share your Sounds of the City photo(s) or video(s) right here on flickr and be eligible to win free tickets to see Oprah Winfrey Presents The Color Purple, running December 16-27, 2009 in NJPAC's Prudential Hall. Share any photos or videos taken during our 2009 summer concert series. Your photos might be of the artists, the audience, or you and your friends sharing a great time in Theater Square. The entrant whose photo or video gets the most unique comments will win a pair of free tickets for the opening night performance of The Color Purple at NJPAC on Wednesday, December 16, 2009.

How to Enter
Upload your photo(s) or video(s) to flickr, tag them with njpacsoc2009, then add them to our NJPAC's Sounds of the City 2009 Photo Contest flickr™ group.

The Rules
NJPAC’s Sounds of the City 2009 Photo Contest is open to participants at least 18 years of age, excluding employees of NJPAC and the immediate families of such employees. Entrant warrants that the submitted photograph is owned by the entrant, and is an original, non-published work that does not infringe upon the rights of any third parties. You will retain all rights to any photograph you post as part of the NJPAC flickr group.

Once your image is added to the group, tag each photo with njpacsoc2009. The privacy settings of submitted photos must be set to Public or Anyone to be considered in the contest. If you do not upload your photo to the NJPAC group on flickr, or do not tag your photo with an appropriate tag, it will not be eligible. If you have trouble using Flickr, please consult their online help files. NJPAC is not responsible for any issues or problems you encounter while trying to upload a photo onto flickr.

Submissions must be uploaded by 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time on Monday, September 28, 2009. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Photos and videos must be from one of NJPAC's 2009 Sounds of the City concerts. Winner will be notified via flickr e-mail.
