About Nisse Strinning

Works by the Swedish architect and designer Nils "Nisse" Strinning (1917–2006).

Images posted to the group should include at least one original design by Nisse Strinning. They may show anything from full interiors to details of a design, such as a shelf or a lamp. The group welcomes images of both vintage and reissued furniture, as well as facsimiles of advertisements, brochures, drawings, sketches, etc. Photos of Nisse Strinning himself are also accepted provided that they include examples of or references to his work.

Please note that while many copies of Nisse Strinning's work exist, especially of String shelves, this group is intended for original and licensed work only. Official manufacturers of Strinning's furniture over time include String Design AB, Deutsche String, and more recently string furniture ab. Images of copies will not be included in the group if they can be clearly identified as such.
