Thanks on how to post! I just started taking photos and learning about Bokeh. People seem to like this one and I am coming up with great ideas on how to photograph all my small antiques like this. Also just learning about using RAW photos.

American lady-Great image. There is so much feeling in their eyes. I would like to see more if you have. I would have maybe gotten the camera a bit lower and have shot this a bit wider.

danilew-This is one beautiful image. Do place like this really exist? Great shot.

TOB Terror-Interesting close shot. I do like it because there is more than the subject in this shot. You have the surroundings, which brings the interest into the shot.

ako655-Nice sunset image. Were you on land or a boat when you captured this image?

ilovemayalopez-You have the eye to see the patterns and textures that you capture. I would have even cropped out the floor.

Domenic Photography-Very cool shot. I do like the sharp contrast between the frog and the ground. Very strange colored frog.

Jazmin$Million-Great shot. Like the headroom you gave to your image and especially I like the smoke. Great depth and tone. And no mic eating.

Boost01-This need a bit of contract it is too flat. Other wise as an image it is great.

karoluscamilius-I like his shot you captured. It has a story like here. Were you able to shoot this closer? There are many levels to this shot, which brings your eye to the subjects. From the leaves in the foreground to the fish in the pond.

jinnuu-I also like this image and what makes it is the feet surrounding the child on the ground playing. Without the feet this would not work. The feet are like a target and the child is the bulls eye.

Ken Wolf-Much better image since you cropped it.

Richard:- Thanks for the feedback, I am trying to work out how I could have gotten more depth. I have similar images where the orang is seen lying on a mat, or his platform is in view. As he was rather high above me, there was no real background to speak of.

I was in a rather difficult position with this as I had an angled glass wall that was throwing all kinds of reflections off it.

Smudge Chris-What I like about your image is the contrast between b&w and color showing the contrast between driving safely and speeding.

agelised-There is no point for focus. There is a lot of information in your shot but there is no story or relationship between any of the subjects in the shot. The problem is your composition is nowhere, no focus.

IPS Photos-Try something for me. Crop from the right to half way through the sun. Showing only half of the sun. The reason is the flower sticking in from the right is taking away focus from the flowers in the center.

occ4m-Very cool image. I like this shot. Never thought of the lighting in the underground being the sun of the underground.

The problem is that the shadows are too harsh because of the direct lighting on the fruit. Using direct light as you have takes away from the beauty and warmth of the fruit. I would have tried to bounce your flash off a white card, anything but direct flash. Plus you have the camera shadow in the bottom part of the frame.

Karimatsu-When working with wide lens you have to pay close attention to your left and right sides when shooting horizontal and you also have to watch out for distortion. If you hold the camera level to what you are shooting the distortion is set to a minimal. There is something very photogenic about abandoned building, can it be the rust. Try also to shoot straight onto the building.

who? Great fly shot.

spidy69cc-What is it? Great image what ever it is.

Ricardo Reed-Not as great as the rain bird shot. Hard to tell what the bird is doing.

kenchie ok-Good shot I would have stood back a bit to show the whole pattern the light is making.

Chadwickdsmith-You did not get skipped I do them in the order I get them. You are next in line. Probably later this evening.

Note from Richard E. Aaron-I am trying my best to review each one of your images and I apologize to the time it is taking. I will eventually get to all.

chadwicksmith-This is a great looking image. I would have lightened up the trees in the mid ground and even the water flow could be a slight lighter in post. Can you also do me a favor and do the same shot in grayscale mode. I would like to see what this image looks like in b&w. Thanks.

Richard E. Aaron [deleted] says:

Dalton Bryant-Great tones and textures. I would have also like to have seen this shot with a higher f/stop bringing all is focus because of the mystery of the raindrop on the leaf. The problem is the in-focus leaf is on the same plane as the soft-focus leaf which makes it look uneven. Maybe if you cropped the leaf in half into a vertical image. I do really like what you captured.

shanemulligan-Great shot. Amazing how the center is lit for your shot. Did you also shoot this from an above angle?

lytfyre-Great available light shot. I would have liked to see this in a wider shot but if this is the only lens you have that is a good choice. This would have also worked as a vertical image too.

Rob361-I like the flow of this image from the texture of the rocks matching with the texture of the water. The position of the subject in the water works well with the line flow of the rocks and water. Great composition and color.

luis PT-Nice shot.

Kenny Boy1-I like this shot in b&w. I like the background texture matching with the flowers. You don't need to shoot a color image of flower to have the beauty of the flowers come through. This shows that beauty of the flowers.

KRHartman-This is a great compositional image but what it lacks is depth and contrast. This shot needs sunlight. With sunlight the greens will pop.

fcruz62-Great shot jut the right amount of sunlight and the subject the bridge and water are placed compositionally perfect. There is even enough detail in the shadow area.

Jack Paris-Great colors and I do like the streaking of the camera. It would have been nice to seen a bit more interesting subject but I know you had to go where the light was to capture this kind of image.

meganhfreeman-You need to give better skin tone to your subject. There is too much contrast on the face; it can be lightened up a bit too.

Paul Morotta-I like this image. I like the focus on the one leaf with the water drop on it with the same leaves in the background a bit soft. If the background leaves were sharp this image would not work.

russ, click on the image in your photostream; you will see few different icons on top of the image, one of these is the icon named "all sizes". megahjaya1-What throws me off is the out of focus threes in the foreground. Try to maybe crop the image in half showing only the mountain.

X Ceccaldi-Great shot nice crop. Please do me a favor and do another cropping for me. Cropping out all the background area in the shot. This is all the top and right side black background.

focuspocus-Great shot. Not only do you have a story like in the foreground but you also have a story line in the background.

Missy Ingrid-I think it will work in both b&w and color because the emphasis is on the subject and there is no distracting color that gets in the way. I would even crop it up from the bottom a bit.

GranDadWoof-Nice shot. Good Cropping and exposure.

Outside The Frame-Great expression on the subject. I would have cropped this to a vertical having the kid's right arm next to the left side of the frame. There is too much white sand in the shot, which is taking away from the emphases of the kid.

Alexanderu-I would have cropped in from the left side of frame. The white area in your shot is a bit distracting to the main subject.

Jeremy Gattis-nice shot. I would crop off the top of the fence to focus more on the subject and the bike in the shot. I would also color correct this shot.

omarasan-I like this shot. The three branches of the tree are in good position and are not interfering with the frame of the shot or the background.

cowlishaw-Great texture and color. I like the flow of this image.

camike-I like this because you only showed part of the subject. Showing the whole body is not needed to tell this story. Great image. I know how she feels.

punuhl-I would have like to have seen what he is holding in his hands. Good lighting on his face and great expression but we the viewer don't know why he is reacting like this.

tara-I do like your image. Great expression and perfect placement of the bubble and the face. I also like your composition; the way you cropped the image.

Fernando Nunes-I would have like to have seen more of the home. I would have liked to seen a pathway on the ground to the front door of the home. Here there is no feeling for what the house is, it needs warmth.

CptRichie-Nice shot great colors and the composition layout is fine.

schumy1980-Great image which works for me because of the green color patch on the lower right side of frame. Through all that mist there is a ray of sun, which is the way, I see this shot.

MandyNH-Great shot, good composition. Just enough of out of focus in the background.

ScottB61-I would have cropped more of this image on the left side of the frame to the back of the mad. The people in the background are a distraction. I would have also tried to shoot this from the front of the man too.

Iris 2007-I would have cropped this a bit more. On the left to the blue staircase and on the right to crop out a small bit of the wall to the metal attachment.

laura james-I like this shot. It would have been nice to see a few people in the shot to show scale and to show what this place actually is.

jamesrorke-Great visual shot. I like your focus point and your lines of composition.

TehShy-I like this shot. Has a lot of feeling. I live near a national cemetery and the lines and the shadows that I see always amaze me.

ian.millia-Needs to be cropped more. Cut the image in half and get rid of the left side of the frame. Thank post it again. I still think this is a great image

Le Red Barron-I like your angle. This is a different view of a subject where you were looking to see something better. Great shot.

Rodrigo-I would have like to have seen this shot before you cropped it. You may have cropped a bit too tight on this landscape. I would have had a bit more breathing room on the right side of the image and the top of the image.

seto supraenergy-What type of post effect did you do on this image? Please let me know if you did any post or did you use filters. Thanks.

John Farley-Is this the full frame image? I would have shown more of the rock on the right to give more balance to the shot.

Paul Marotta-Not interesting. Either you should have gotten closer to the man rowing or the background should have been more interesting.

That moment-The colors are not popping, as a yellow should. Maybe it is too dark of and image and should be lightened up in post. You image is too centered. Crop off more on the right side of the frame, moving the flower to the right.

bluesguy NY-The angle you shot this at makes it into a piece of photography are rather than a tourist photo. The angle you shot it at with the sun in your favor and the mixture of colors makes this a great photo.

Common Gavel/Jay Protacio Mendoza-I would have shot this from a much lower angle, almost at the eye line of the kid. Getting the camera down there puts you in the shot with him not separate from him.

prov31mrs-This needs a bit of a contrast boost in post. Great framing and colors but you do need a contrast boost.

TRK-The problem of shooting into the sun is flare even though you have shot it with a fill flash. One way to get rid of the flare of the sun is with a flag or a larger lens hood or even a hand held card over the lens. Also watch you backgrounds. Make them more interesting.

marije 90-I like the angle of the flower but the problem is there is no detail in the bee. The bee is hard to see. You could have lightened up the section of where the be is in post.

sevensisters-Too much is in this shot that do not relate. I would have concentrated on the center and right of the frame objects and gotten rid of the liquid bottles on the left.

chadwickdsmith-I gave a review on the past pages. Great image.

Outside The Frame-I also did a review of your shot in the pages before.

tedman8335-I would have liked to have see the whole shot before you cropped it. This image need more contrast and needs to be made lighter. The one girl in the front is lost because of the dark lighting on the face, which could have been brought up in post.

Jessica Osborn-You are loosing the subject because the flowers are flat in contrast. This needs a boost in contract and a boost in color. Your main flower does not stand out like it should because it is blending with the rest of the image.

jetrim-Before I comment on this image please let me see the horizontal original image.
