Oh my ... you're going to get flooded :)
Here's mine:

I feel like my biggest weakness is the post processing and my "story telling". Here I really liked how he fills the frame but wonder if it's too cramped.
Thanks for looking :)

Is it okay to submit film shots? Film shots not done with a Nikon? :)
I really love this photo but sometimes the focus point, and what I think is a bit of motion blur noticeable on the guy on the right, bugs me.
Mind you, it's probably prefocused at or approaching f/2.0 and with a slow shutter speed to compensate for ISO 400 film.

I think there is way too much empty space on this pic, but I'm not too sure what needs to go where (I try to avoid cropping; force myself to get the composition with the shot). I also tried B&W for this, but liked the brown earthy tones better.

Here's a recent one...

And, before you lash into me, I already know I desperately need to shake myself of this reliance on centering everything... It's a puzzling little compositional rut.

I could use some comments on this one. I like the simplicity of the photo but I somehow think it's missing something from being a really good photo. It's a ~1000 year old wall in Chaco Canyon and I was trying to get across the ideas of how long it had been there and the ultimate impermenance of everything.

After some inspiration from another comment, I did a small crop and put a bleach bypass filter on it to get an older feel. I'm not sure if I like it better or not but you can see it here if you're interested in comparison (didn't want to clutter up what will be a huge thread)

This one's currently my favourite digital street shot - 24mm f/2 AIS, the angle of view of a 35mm and the DoF of a 24mm!

This was shot at f3.5 at very low light so was a little lucky to get any kind of sharpness at all! Was happy with how the lines work in this picture but I realise it's not the best quality... Time to invest in a nikon 50mm f1.8 i think?
Any criticism or comments welcome!

Oh, the flood!
Here's one from Denmark that I took about a week ago, using the D80 with the Sigma 10-20mm @ 20mm + Sigma polarizer. Cropped, adjusted curves and added vignetting in Lightroom.

Short intro: I was director of photography for DragonCon for 10 years and have been shooting SciFi cons for over 25. I've found that I really shoot people candids very well and DragonCon tends to provide a LOT of interesting (and very, very attractive) opportunities.
Yes, this is Kari Byron from MythBusters and photographs do not do her justice.

Sorry O. I deleted your great image. Oooops.
This is such a great shot. but you already knew that. You should do a series of close-up images of different flowers shot in your own style as it is here. We never had flowers like that in the Bronx or even now in Lala Land.

I tend to like these off-center shots, but I do realize that they are not always practical. Does this shot work?
