This group is for all you night owls that prowl around the countryside from dusk til dawn, looking for that elusive moment of inspiration! Low light for you is no problemo... you just seize the subject like a vampire and suck the moment into a tiny pinhole, like a fang leaves its' mark, so did you... and now you would like to flaunt your subject, that will forever be under your spell... for all to see!

Hi, I am Jeff Scism,

I am the new co-admin for the Nightscapes group.

I have made a small change in the way photos are posted to the group.

I have installed a "pending" function, which means photos you submit are screened. The ONLY things we are screening for at this time are whether or not it is a Nightscape. (No SUN allowed, submissions have to be night-time photography)

Some things about Nightscapes. Modern cameras are designed to have extended sensitivity in low light. This means that SOME shots near dusk or dawn may appear to be daylight shots. Feel free to post those at our sister group.

Keep your photos "safe for work", please. If you don't want your mother, your children, your boss or your wife seeing these, then use restraint when you think about posting them.

Also you may now post up to 12 shots per day, instead of six.
