I am writing to let you know that this group still exists. I hope you will send more photographs. I am really looking for older photographs; from the University District, Renton (this is the toughest) or earlier.

About Nickelsville Seattle

Nickelsville is an unofficial tent city in Seattle. This community is managed by the people who live there. There are responsibilities for everyone such as being at the security desk or picking up litter. Other residents head up committees such as organizing donations and making sure the tents are set up properly. Daily meetings are led by any resident nominated by the group and are intended to keep the "camp" running smoothly. Currently, Nickelsville residents (sometimes called Nickelodeons), along with volunteers, are building"small, sturdy, simple, sleeping structures"
Since Nickelsville has had several locations, if possible please identify the site of your photos. A rough date would be helpful too.
