About Remember Afghanistan
Such an important place in global affairs, Afghanistan is yet again an afterthought to governments and decision makers. My goal was to create a group that celebrates what Afghanistan was, with the hopes of what it can be.
Afghans, expatriates, and visitors to Afghanistan, feel free to post your images. I prefer to have pictures that show any point of Afghanistan's modern history: pre-Soviet Afghanistan, Soviet occupation, Refugee crisis, and the civil war post Soviet occupation.
Any picture that shows Afghanistan and its people in their past or current states would be great.
Our goal is to host pictures that move people, send the messages we state here, and capture the spirit of the country and its people.
