Fotosense has jumped up to £70-odd too! Not quite as much, but still a significant price hike.

I'm wondering why this is? These filters do seem incredibly hard to get hold of right now.

I've just ordered the B+W 110 77mm for £57.25 inc VAT and shipping from ABC Digital Cameras in the UK.

If they've sold out by the time you read this it's worth trying FotoSense who are taking backorders for the B+W 110 77mm at £64.76 but they won't have them in stock until the end of May.

Expensive kit but sadly nothing I've tried comes even close to the B+W.

Postscript - Philip Mack was correct ABC Digital Cameras are out of stock even through they continue to list it on their website (never believe anything you read on the net! ;)

Focuscamera US are out of stock now too.

Seems the world's gone mad for 10 stop NDs!

Anyone know if an 82mm 10-stop screw on ND filter is made? I'd love one to fit my 16-35mm Canon.

Also, does Hi-Tech or Lee make a 10-stop ND in a 4x4 to slide into the Lee holder?

Thanks for any help with these questions.

The biggest B+W 110 is 77mm.

Yep, Hi-Tech make a 100mm square 10-stop filter.

Hi all,
Just joined the group... I got my 10-stop B+W from Warehouse Express back in April for about £58 including postage.

I've just had a look at their site and the price has now jumped dramatically... Take a look at this!

You're best off getting a landscape lens to start with, 77mm is massive lol, my 67mm cost £66 inc p+p from Robert White Photographic - cheapest i could find.

Hilton Photographic are very good, I only have the filter for my 18-55mm (dont have a wide angle yet) and they sell for £35 - got mine in 2 days. They were selling the 77mm at the same time for £55 although a friend I recommended to them did say they suddenly had a surge in orders for that size and it would take a few weeks to arrive.

I would recommend them though, they have excellent customer service, unlike Jessops who took the order off my partner, then 9 weeks later informed him that they had stopped making them! Then he found Hilton on the net and had 1 within 3 days!

Warehouse Express is now £79.99 hopefully they will go down even more, I see at B&H New York they are $91 about £55 so not cheap there either. Just Hiltons and they are £69.99 +£2.50 postage, they are the best price I can find. Many of the other stores mentioned above do not seem to stock them anymore. If anyone knows a better price please advise. I have a Hitech ND 3 but not keen on strong magenta cast on my Canon, although not a problem for monochrome.

people aren't including what filter size they ordered!
I bought a 62mm B+W 110 (ND1000) 2 yrs ago from Fotosense for £52
the 77mm (which I now need) was £79 so as far as I can see there is no difference in price from 2yrs ago!!
