SiG@MaRS is bringing together communities that too often work in separate worlds. While the latest social technology is being designed and used to further a corporate imperative, changemakers are working tirelessly on solutions to some of the world’s most complex social and ecological problems.
NetChange is creating a convergence space for skills exchange. Changemakers will learn more effective communication, design-thinking and strategic process methods from digital professionals including analysts, information architects, user experience designers, visual designers, and technologists. Collaborating with the change-making community will allow digital professionals to apply their skills to a new purpose.
NetChange is about applying new methods and building new models to catalyze deeper, more systemic change.
