Group RulesBird Studies Canada (BSC) is a not-for-profit organization built on the enthusiastic contributions of thousands of volunteer Citizen Scientists and contributors. Data from Bird Studies Canada's volunteer surveys and targeted research projects are used to identify significant population changes and help direct conservation planning. The mission of Bird Studies Canada is to advance the understanding, appreciation, and conservation of wild birds and their habitats, in Canada and elsewhere, through studies that engage the skills, enthusiasm, and support of its members, volunteers, and the interested public.
By joining and posting to this group, you are contributing to the understanding and appreciation of wild birds and their habitats, and we thank you! Sharing your photographs in this group also means that you are granting permission to Bird Studies Canada to utilize your photos in organizational posts, such as the Bird Studies Canada website (www.birdscanada.org); our bi-weekly e-newsletter Latest News and the BSC quarterly magazine, BirdWatch Canada, as well as any future press releases, promotional material and project reports to current and potential funders.
