About Nature, landscape & military
Dedicated to landscapes influenced by military activities: old battlefields, nature of military training zones, overgrown fortifications and other places where nature and war meet.
Recommendations:
- post pictures combining natural and military aspects of a place, not just things like interiors of buildings or details of military technology; there is already a group for military ruins: www.flickr.com/groups/militarydecay/
- consider attaching a geotag or some other information
- founder of this group does not like metal detectors, memorabilia looting and such stuff; Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints
- no politic debates or extremism; for example posting pictures of a WW2 bunker or Vietnamese jungle is OK, but avoid things like Nazi-worship or long flamewars about US foreign policy
- do not get shot :-)
