A natural landscapes photo group (please read the rules)

Please read carefully these rules before posting your photos.

Photos out of this group topic will be removed by admin, and user who spam with too many images which do not follow these rules may be deleted or banned.

Once you posted your images, please take time to browse the group and comment photos you like ;)

You can add landscape photos whose MAIN SUBJECT is Nature AND Landscape :
- mountains,
- lakes,
- rivers,
- countryside,
- forest,
- sea,
- beach, coast, etc...
- please also prefer photos with correct exposure, color balance, etc...


PLEASE DO NOT ADD :

- close-ups,
- macrophotos (flowers, insects...),
- cityscapes, towns or village sceneries,
- photos where people, pets, animals, wildlife, vehicles, a building or man-made structure are the primary subject(s) of the picture,
- gardens (there are artificially made, not natural...).
- industrial,
- screen copies of your desktop wallpapers, etc...

TIPS FOR DUMMIES :

- A flower is not a landscape
- A duck is not a landscape
- A cow, a lion, an animal aren't a landscape
- A house or every building are not a landscape
- A church is not a natural landscape
- A bridge is not a natural landscape
- A town, a village, a farm, a port, or a cityscape are not a natural landscape
- A vehicle, a car, a train, a boat, are not a landscape
- A garden is not a natural landscape (it is man made, not natural)
- A wind power plant is pretty and ecologic, but not a natural landscape
- And a nuclear power plant is not natural at all... ;)
- for presence of animals in the photo, there is a tolerance if you post images with wide angle and good depth of field (the landscape MUST be the main subject). The presence of animals must be very unobtrusive in the composition of the image. As this is only a tolerance, you have no garanty the photo will be approved.
- photos from roads and agricultural landscapes are also tolerated if nature is REALLY the main subject and it is none visual pollution (no buildings, no electric poles, no vehicles, no pets), etc. ...As this is also a tolerance, you have no garanty the photo will be approved.
