About National Wildlife Week

This is a place to post photos from National Wildlife Week, held by the the National Wildlife Federation, April 21-29 2007.

The First Annual Blogger BioBlitz is a project where bloggers pledge to inventory the organisms found in some small part of their world, in conjunction with National Wildlife Week. A lot of the photos here are likely going to come from the Blogger BioBlitz, but any NWW-related photos are welcome.

Want to join the Blogger BioBlitz? What and where you survey are entirely up to you. So far we are "Blitzing" at over 40 different sites across North America (and beyond!). We'll be pooling our data, mapping it and reporting the results (and most of us will also be chronicling our experiences in our blogs). If you want to get in on the BioBlitz but don't have a blog, join our Google Group and we will help you out.
