About National Poetry Day (UK) - Poetry in PublicEvery October, from Land’s End to John O’Groats, the people of the UK show off their poetic flair and creativity on National Poetry Day. To celebrate, you can join this group and add images of poems that you have seen in public places around the country. Your image could be a well known poem carved in stone, on a building, on a beermat or in a stained glass window. These pictures will then appear on the National Poetry Day website at: www.nationalpoetryday.co.uk. |
