About Day of Action against deep sea oil

April 20 is the anniversary of when the spill in the Gulf of Mexico began. To commemorate the day, independent activities across New Zealand will be taking place to demand that our government stops its reckless exploration for the last drops of oil, risking even further climate change and oil spills.

Groups all around the country are mobilising, from Coal Action Network, Climate Camp, Te Whanau a Apanui, Ngati Porou, Greenpeace volunteer networks, to Climate Justice.
If you are keen to get active on the ground please email the volunteers who are coordinating the activities.
