About Narrated Photography

"Narrated Photography" is all about the story and information surrounding the photo. This is for shots that come with various forms of narration, that gives an insight into what the photographer was thinking and feeling, aspiring to capture, where the shot was taken, how the shot was captured, and all those other details that pertain to the process surrounding the shot. It is not only for viewers who appreciate the time and effort that goes into narrating a shot, but also a group for photographers who want their photo to be part of a "conversation" between artist and audience.

Back-story aside, additional information regarding the technical side of photography helps us all learn and evolve as photographers; be we amateurs or professionals. Honesty and openness regarding use of equipment and technique – both pre- and post-capture – is encouraged and commended.

It need not be much, but it's got have something; the more extensive the narration, the happier we are to have it. Geo-tagging is a plus.


Photos lacking even the most basic of descriptions (or merely offering brief EXIF data) will be removed.
