About Napa Valley Museum Travel Photography
Five million people visit the Napa Valley annually, but where do the residents of Napa Valley visit? The Museum’s upcoming exhibition Wanderlust: Journeying with Napa Valley Photographers, on display May 13-July 16th, brings us to places in the world where professional Napa Valley photographers have traveled to see and capture images of culture, place, and people in places in the world unfamiliar to most of us.
They have traveled to Cuba, Vietnam, Indonesia, Africa, India and Guatemala……but where have you traveled? To the open fields of Montana? The lighthouses in Maine? The hills of Ireland or the snow-capped Alps? The Museum invites you to submit your travel photographs to our Flickr group. Share your experiences for a chance to win a spot in the exhibition, a digital camera and one-year family membership to the museum!
Submission Details:
•One image per person. Submissions are for two categories: Under 17 and 18+.
•Images must be submitted to the Museum’s Flickr Group, with the photographer’s name, contact email and adult or youth.
•Images will be juried by the Museum’s Executive Director and the Guest Curator of the Exhibit.
•One winner will be chosen from each category. Winning entries will be included in the show, receive a one-year family membership to the museum and a digital camera.
•Submissions must be received by April 20th. Winners will be notified by May 1st.
