WHAT IT IS:

This is a place to honor those people in our lives whose inner beauty shines the brightest.
To keep it a special honor, place only one picture here per week.


WHAT TO DO:

Take a flattering photo of your honored friend, teacher, student or lover and place it here. Then send the link to the page, so that person knows they have been honored.


MANDATORIES:

1. All posts must be tagged "namaste".

2. All posts must explain why this person was selected for the NAMASTE HONOR in either the "photo description" or under "comments".
(otherwise this would just be another portrait group-and that's not what this is)

WHAT DOES NAMASTE MEAN?:

Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another. "Nama" means bow, "as" means I, and "te" means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means "bow me you" or "I bow to you."
