About Naiad Dawns

Please note the name "Naiad Dawns" is a poetic term and not literal in the description of the group. It's not a group about naiads or dawns - (circumstances require me to add this bit).

ABOUT
Photographs, paintings and video in colour, inspired by and portraying a misty, dream-like, ethereal feminine (which includes those of the male gender, within a feminine spirit).

Like a Waterhouse painting, the female spirit within a mystical, dream-like, whimsical ambience and setting. Emotive, poetic, capturing fluid moments.

Basically, smoke/blurr effects, textures, very high or low contrast, vintage processing, and all that gives a dream-like and ethereal quality to the photo. Pictures without these effects won't be admitted into the group pool.

GUIDELINES
Each photo must be tasteful, artistic and have (at least part of) either a woman or a man portraying his feminine side in an emotive/poetic manner.

No harsh tones (dark colours in harmony are OK), B&W (black and white), goofy or infantile (baby pictures, bright toys, ball-jointed dolls), blatant nudity or commercial work please.

Not a group about photographical/artistical correctness, but creative expression within within the theme.
