04 Mar 07 - Since there have been problems with people not quite getting what the group is all about (it's not that easy, I admit), we've switched to a moderated pool. This will soon be integrated into the rules and group information.

About Night Over-Exposure

Take a picture at night, extremely over-exposed, and enjoy the astonishing moment when you realize that your camera sees more than you do.

RULES:

0. For every single one of these rules the Administrators can decide to make an exception, for example if the picture is especially beautiful.
1. Not every long-exposure shot taken at night qualifies for this group; it needs to look a bit "otherworldly" and brighter you'd expect night to be. Camphone photos most likely don't qualify, neither do photos just showing blurry lights. If you are unsure whether a photo qualifies, look at the N-OE pool or talk to an Administrator. Generally it helps if there's at least one bright source of glaring light in the photo.
2. For photos taken with a digital camera, EXIF data has to be provided.
3. People adding a single photo to 30 groups or so are generally suspicious.
4. Blocking an Administrator and yet adding your photo to this group is pretty bold and will get your photo removed.
5. People who repeatedly break the rules will be banned (duh!).
