About Someone ripped me off, and they gonna pay!

More and more corporates are using flickr as a medium to source for free images and use for their advertising campaign in Australia without asking for usage permissions from the owners. (JB HiFi, SMH, Virgin Mobile, Gridskipper just to name a few). It's not just the case of fellow photographers are being ripped off for their images, but it is already ruining the industry in this country, where many more talented photographers are finding difficult to break into the industry to earn a living. It's time for photographers to stand up and protect their images copyrights.

If you think you have been ripped off or notice someone's images had been use unofficially, please report here and hopefully we will be able to resolve the issues.

Having said that, first step to prevent your images being ripped off for commercially purporses, perhaps consider to change your privacy permission on your facebook to "All rights reserved" instead of "Creative Commons".

We are not anti-corporate gits. We just have rights to make art.
