About Wild mycelium
Mycelium is the vegetative part of a fungus, consisting of a mass of branching, thread-like hyphae. IF a mushroom was an apple the mycellium make up not only the apple but the body of the whole tree.
we wanted to create the first group dedicated to nearly invisible identity of the fungus.
Imagine if people only took photos of fruit, seeds and nuts and flowers but never saw the trees that bore them? The majority of people are unaware mushrooms are only the fruit of the extensive feeding body of the mushroom, which can be beautiful in its/their own right.
