About My window in Holland
Today I met Mrs L. that I took in picture the day before in her garden.
I wanted to show her the picture. I also wanted to ask her some questions about the decorations she puts not only in her windows but also all around the house, on the walls and in the garden.
When I asked her if she liked her portrait I made, of course she said no.
I wondered if she has been decorating her house like that for a long time. She didn’t even know. Then I concluded that she has always done that. In fact her father did it too. Not her mother. And even if in her family everybody does it at least a little bit, she is the master !
Are they antiques ? Not at all. Things bought everywhere or given to her. The dolphins come from Greece.
She was surprised to know that it’s so typical from Holland. At least the Holland I know.
