Walking the grounds, you travel in time from pioneer beginning to Victorian lifestyles. The historic Martin Mitchell Mansion, a showpiece of the museum and the only house in Naperville on the National Register of Historic Places, is open for tours to capture the beauty and grandeur of the 19th century.
