The Monthly Faving Game & Contest
Ok, friends, this is my new monthly contest format. It might sound complicated at first, but you´ll get used to it, I am sure :))
This game and contest only works with pictures that ARE in the pool. If the pictures that you wish to join are not in the group already, go over the invite request thread. No inviting is done on this thread.
- Add 1 picture from the pool to the thread
- Number your picture CORRECTLY for the contest and faving reference above your picture
- Fave 2 other pictures from THIS thread with the FAVE AWARD below
- Place the number and link of the pictures that you faved UNDER your picture
- Add a maximum of 5 pictures per month, fave 2 per image you post each time
- If you do not fave: first time you and all your work gets removed. 2nd time Ban.
At the end of each month we will vote for the best 3 images of the contest. With your votes you will need to fave 3 more images, either those that you voted for, or others, by placing the number of the faved pictures in brackets below your votes. No re-faving of those that you faved earlier.
I will re-explain this when it is voting time at the end of each month

Q & A:
Q – Does the fave award count for the “Your favourites 4+” Award?
A – Yes, it does, if the fave awards make you reach 4+ awards, post it on the according thread.
Q – What do I do if the picture that I wish to post is not in the pool already?
A – You go via the invite request thread. There will be no invites given on this thread.
Q – What happens if I forget to fave or when Flickr swallows my fave?
A – The person missing the fave needs to email you. If you do not add your missing fave within 24 hours, you and all your work gets removed from the group. 2nd time you get banned.
Q – I am not on Flickr every day. What happens if I forget to fave or when Flickr swallows my fave, and I do not read the message in time?
A – Bad luck, make sure that your faves are really there :))
Q - What do I do if the pictures on the thread already have my fave from earlier?
A – You post later, you have enough time :)) You MUST give 2 FRESH faves per image that you post. NO RE-FAVING!!!
Q – What do I do if I do not like the pictures that are on the thread already?
A – You don´t post if you cannot fave 2 other pictures, NO RE-FAVING!!
You also may post later when there are enough pictures on the thread worthy your fave ;) But no posting images with messages saying “I will come later and fave then”. Not acceptable.
Q – What do I do if a person re-faves me?
A - You write the person an email, moaning and remove the code from your picture. Then you write me an email stating so, and I remove the person from the group, including all the work in the pool. 2nd time of playing unfair means BAN. I know that some friends play agreed refaving with eachother, I cannot control that. I hope that you are all kind enough to play fair.
Q – What do I do when somebody gives me the award without faving?
A- You kindly write an email to the person and request your fave. If the fave does not come within 24 hours, you write to me with the link to your image with the comment only, proving what you state. I then remove the non-faving person and all the work from the pool. Everybody gets a 2nd chance and may rejoin the group and contest. 2nd time of not faving will get you banned forever.
I am holding this game and contest for all of you who support this group with your wonderful art. Please be so kind and play fair. Because I will not, if you do not – hehehe - meaning this is strict!!
