About Murder Shack

A group for your pictures of rural shacks, sheds, or houses - A bit creepy, and a bit run-down. There is something about them that makes your imagination get the better of you. Unspeakable things could happen in a place like that.
We also are accepting interior shots of these places. Please keep in mind we want to stick with a rural theme. No factories, hospitals, or hotels. Although these may certainly be creepy, they do not pertain to the idea of the group.

Once upon a time some friends and I were driving in the dark wooded regions of the Holy Hill area in Southeastern Wisconsin.
We were trying to scare each other by saying what would be freaky to see on the roads. I said a headless hitchhiker. And my friend, Ben pointed out a wheathered white shed at the side of the road and dubbed it the Murder Shack. The name took, and now all small, run-down sheds or shacks that are a tad too creepy to want to be visited at night have been called "Murder Shacks". If you know anything about Wisconsin, it isn't unlikely that bad things can happen out there in them woods.

If this group is a bit too morid for your taste, that's alright, no need to participate. Just know that the name is all in good fun.
