About The mugshot project - freedom of expression
People this protest is getting boring, lame and deserted
WE Need a face!
Here is a Idea you might like:
Let´s be the Face of the protest!
Let´s set a big sign that no one can ignore.
Let´s be who we are: A big, fat, bugging crowed!
1. Make a photo of yourself and send it to me by mail.
(Use the address mugshots@superfluence.com for this. Make a file not larger than 300kb)
1.1 You can also send me a link to the photo via flickr mail.
1.2 Your face should be full or partly visible, but not hidden behind a mask or masked in any other we. This project is about people that say "I want Freedom! I want Freedom for everydoy!"
2. I will cut and edit it into a format looking like this:
3. After that i will put it in a online collection with nothing else but these shots. (we must discuss how and where)

Q: Why did you change the slogan? Why not Against Censorship on Flickr?
A: Because we need positive thinking. This Protest is for the community, not against Flickr. We ant to make this a good place again.

Q: Why suddenly for flickr?
A: Flickr is the Community (and the Staff). So harming flickr, harms the Community. Also we need to make flickr see this issue in a positive way. At the moment they are not going to do anything more against censorship. So we need them to understand that, in a positive way, we have needs as a global community.

Q: Why do you want me to mail the photo? Is this a mock or a email collecting?
A: It is to ensure that i don´t run in to legal issues. I need a written and unmodifiable agreement to use the photo. A photo in a stream or a posting in a forum can´t do it.

Q: Why is it not online yet?
A: To make this a serious project i will start putting stuff online by reaching the first 50 participant number.

Q: Where is my photo?
A: Well, at the moment (if you sent it) it´s on my hard drive. I don´t know yet, where and in what fashion to upload the mugshots. So please make your suggestion in this thread. Thank you!
