About Mugshot Monday

Show Monday your worst face, or your best face, and dare it to arrive.

Are you familiar with the drudgery of Mondays? Photos here capture the fear, the sorrow, the insert-emotion-here each of us feels on Mondays, displayed in a headshot of your taking. It doesn't have to be a self-portrait, but if you want to keep from offending your friends, family members, and other living, breathing, photo subjects, using yourself might be a wise decision. It's up to you.


Rules. (More like guidelines...)

What kind of shots are expected here? Think about those terribly unflattering mugshots we all see from time to time of celebrities who've tied one on or been caught baked to a crisp. Have you got a just-rolled-out-of-bed look that can beat one of those? Show us.

Can I post a real mugshot? Sure, as long as it's YOUR mugshot, taken by you. We're on the honor system, sure, but you're willing and able. There are plenty of websites with mugshots of real people who've gone to jail, no need for that here.

Make it as bad, as ugly, as sad, as funny as you want, but try to keep your motivation within the realm of "Mondays feelings" as best you can (how you choose to define and project Monday feelings in a portrait is up to you).

Is there a posting limit? Sort of. Let's keep it to no more than 7 mugshots a week - and this may be overkill. There's only one Monday in a week ya know. How many times do you wake during it?

How do I get in?Tag your shots 'MugshotMonday'. Or join the group (and then tag your photo 'MugshotMonday'). Tell your friends. Make flyers. Sing it from the top of your lungs.

Lastly, have fun with it. See if you can scare us, surprise us, or hey, just generally make us feel better about ourselves. X-D


PS - Nudity is allowed, as long as it's not depicted in the mugshot. ;-)
