About The Midland

– The middle land –

The Midland is a magic land in the middle of a dream. You can find it by closing your eyes, taking a deep breath and just relaxing.
The Midland is that wonderful space that exists between your eye and the subject you are going to capture in your camera. The Midland is your interpretation of life described by the light or its absence, through your photos. We would like you to place all the photos you believe have something special to communicate to the world. Please feel free to put here whatever subject you think can be interesting, and that has a story to tell beyond the image itself.
The Midland is also a special place to take a break, to have a pleasant conversation on photography, art, literature, cooking, sports, and whatever there can be of fabulous between the moment we open our eyes, to the moment we are going to fall in our deserved sleep at night.

The Midland – La terra di mezzo –

The Midland è un luogo magico nel mezzo di un sogno. Lo si può trovare chiudendo gli occhi, respirando profondamente e rilassandosi.
The Midland è quello spazio meraviglioso che esiste tra il tuo occhio ed il soggetto che stai per catturare con la macchina fotografica. The Midland è la tua interpretazione della vita descritta dalla luce, o dalla sua assenza, attraverso le tue foto. Vorremmo che inserissi qui tutte le foto che ritieni abbiano qualcosa di speciale da comunicare al mondo. Sentiti libero di postare qualsiasi soggetto reputi interessante e che abbia una storia da raccontare al di là dell’immagine stessa.
The Midland è anche un luogo speciale in cui concedersi una pausa, in cui conversare piacevolmente di fotografia, arte, letteratura, cucina, sport e tutto ciò che di fantastico esiste tra il momento in cui apriamo gli occhi, al momento in cui stiamo per essere cullati dal nostro meritato sonno.
