About Montana Strobist
A meeting place for Montana photographers to post photos, discuss all things related to off-camera lighting through the use of flash units, referred to as strobing.
This is intended as a regional off-shoot of the strobist group:

and the strobist blog:
strobist.blogspot.com
and is in no way intended as competition, but rather as a way for Montana strobists to connect, without clogging the message boards at the bigger site.
It is highly recommended that you be a member of the Flickr strobist group.
Please don't post pictures here if you are not a Montana based photographer.
POSTING RULES:
1.)Similar to the main Strobist group, please add lighting info to your images when posting in this group, or your images will be dropped (exceptions are behind the scene shots).
2.)No nude photography, save that for the Strobist 18+ site
Just a reminder This group is related to the main strobist group, which means we adhere to many of its rules. The first rule being, off camera flash/strobe/light work only; unless the photos are of setup/behind the scenes. We also request that lighting information be included. Why the rules? If we didn't have these rules, there would be no point to the group.
