About Miniature Transient Public Installations (MTPI)

Can't convince the Central Park Commission to cover every square inch of the Great Lawn with plastic kiddie pools?

The Whitney hasn't gotten back to you on your idea for an interactive installation in which visitors wash and dry thousands of lost pieces of clothing from laundromats across the world using several dozen fully functioning washers and dryers?

The Metropolitan Transit Authority is downright hostile to the notion of putting a mannequin on the A containing a digital loop of Leonard Nimoy reciting a 1950's instructional guide on penmanship?

Well, you CAN have the last laugh. Why not take the decision-makers out of the equation, take the art away from and out of the galleries and museums, take the time to create small, public and transient installations of your own, and photograph them and place them here...

...unless of course you have something better to do.

The only requirement is that you laugh and have fun.

For fans of dada, satire, and absurdity in general.
