About Mr. Bingle Lives!

This group is dedicated to Mr. Bingle, originally born as a vehicle for advertising the Maison Blanche stores in the 1940's. This quirky little snowman has become an integral part of Christmas in New Orleans.

This group is dedicated to my father, who took me to see Mr. Bingle every year when I was growing up, braving the crowds of Canal St. in the late sixties and seventies so I could see puppets and get my picture taken.

Bingle "superfan" Lauren Brown created a very good Mr. Bingle dedication web site that is chock full of content. Unfortunately the navigation on the site isn't that well-laid out, but you can uncover a lots of quality treasures after some digging.

Most of the recent action has been happening on her Yahoo group site. It's the best and most active community/collaborative web site that I've seen regarding our boy. There is some amazing rare and antique Bingle merchandise that shows up and commerced as well.
