About A Night at the Movies...
This group is for photographs showing locations from movies. If you have any shots showing buildings, landmarks, scenery etc from a movie, this is the place to post them.
And this is how it works:
1. Post your photographs to the pool
2. Start a discussion thread with the name of the movie
3. The first entry should include a couple of sentences about the movie (when was it shot, who starred in it, what's the plot outline etc) and a link to imdb
4. Subquent thread entries should include photos for the relevant film and some description/ explanation of how it relates to that film (see post "The Third Man" for an example)
5. Please use the "small" photo setting where possible, or "medium" if you want to show off some details that are difficult to see in small
Don't forget to check if there is already a thread for the movie you want to post about. Duplicate threads will be deleted, as will photographs that don't relate to movies and/ or are not posted in any discussion threads.
If all this sounds like too much hard work, then there are plenty of movie groups where you can jsut offload your photographs. However, if you want to take part in creating an anotated movie archive, then this is the group for you.
