About Mountain Atmosphere

This is a group for the people out there who love the mountains, and the ever-changing atmosphere of these high places. From wildflower meadows to frozen crags, please share some of your highest quality images. Images that don't meet the groups quality standards or criteria will not be accepted. Please do not take it personally, but do please keep participating.

Things to keep in mind when adding an image:

-The image should depict a mountain scene, somewhat directly.

-The image should showcase particularly beautiful conditions, such as weather and light. not everything has to be a fiery sunset, but no snapshots please.

-People love extremes... an extremely dramatic or extremely serene/calm scene is best.

-Avoid the human element when adding an image. Power lines, roads, buildings, etc. should not be in the scene. But, the occasional action shot of a man in nature is ok.

-Post your best. This should be a group of the highest quality images only. This is not a post 1 comment 17 group, so don't post mediocre shots in an attempt to get a bunch of traffic.

Have fun everyone. There are a lot of great mountain landscapes floating around out there, and this is a place to showcase the best of the best. If your image happens to be removed don't take it personally.

Most of all, thanks for the participation!
