About Mount Retezat

It was created in 1935 as the first national park in Romania, designed to preserve the beauty of the mountains Retezat flower and fauna here. Located in the southwest jud.Hunedoara, very well preserved traces of the old glaciatiei, here are 82 glacial lakes of the Enjoy (2041m alt.), The spread in the country, with an area of 11ha, Taul Black (2014m alt.) and Lake Zanoaga (Taul Zanoaga) deepest glacial lake in the country's maximum depth is 27 m Massif Retezat through varied scenery, haughty and rocky terrain provides some of the most beautiful views and is crossed by numerous marked trails for hiking enthusiasts and for lovers of mountaineering there are several climbing routes. Retezat National Park boasts more than 60 peaks with altitudes above 2200m.Cel more representative of the mountain peak and carries his name: Retezat (2482m), 2509m and Peleaga with the doll (2508m) peaks are located in the top 10 in Romania (the sixth of seventh respectively) Zlata (2142m), Sese (2334m), Bucharest (2433m), High Peak (2463m), Judge (2334m) are other peaks importante.Flora and fauna are protected, including plant species are: mountain yellow poppies, silver, blood Hale, ghintura, lily of the protected animals are yellow and black goat, grouse, Carpathian brown bear and marmot.
A fost creat in 1935,fiind primul parc national din Romania,destinat conservarii frumusetilor Muntilor Retezat a florii si faunei de aici. Situat in partea de sud-vest a jud.Hunedoara ,pastreaza foarte bine urmele glaciatiei de altadata ,aici se afla 82 de lacuri glaciare dintre care Bucura (2041m alt.),cel mai intins din tara,cu o suprafata de 11ha ,Taul Negru(2014m alt.)si Lacul Zanoaga (Taul Zanoaga) cel mai adanc lac glaciar din tara,adancimea lui maxima fiind de 27 m. Masivul Retezat prin peisajul variat ,relieful semet si stancos ofera unele din cele mai frumoase privelisti ,fiind traversat de nenumarate poteci turistice marcate pentru amatorii de drumetii ,iar pentru amatorii de alpinism exista cateva trasee de catarare. Parcul National Retezat se mandreste cu peste 60 de varfuri cu altitudini mai mari de 2200m.Cel mai reprezentativ pisc al masivului poarta si denumirea acestuia:Retezat (2482m),Peleaga cu cei 2509m si Papusa (2508m) sunt varfurile aflate in top 10 din Romania(al saselea respectiv al saptelea) Zlata(2142m),Sesele(2334m),Bucura(2433m),Varful Mare(2463m),Judele(2334m)sunt alte varfuri importante.Flora si fauna sunt ocrotite,printre speciile de plante se afla:macul galben de munte,argintica,sangele voinicului,ghintura,crinul galben iar dintre animale ocrotite sunt capra neagra,cocosul de munte,ursul brun carpatin si marmota.
