This was going to be a real, physical museum one day. Art & Expression can be found in everyday objects that we take for granted. Juxtaposition or repetition (or both!) can make the most mundane subjects speak.

I'm hoping that people will post their own photos to this group (and tag them as "mote" + whatever the object is.) Full-on shots of everyday objects. Artistically done, sure, if you want - but full views of the entire object.

I'm looking for either all of the various "things" that are different but share the same name (like a doorway) or things that are all exactly the same, but shot by different people in different locations on different days with different senses of aesthetics (like a starbuck's cup.) But the minute you pose something or prop it up a certain way to take its picture is when you have stopped taking it for granted and started to treat it as a focal point. (One could say that merely taking its picture does so as well.) So please try to minimize the 'mundane as art' in favor of 'art in the mundane' (get it?)
