About Most Interesting
Post your top 20 Most Interesting photos. Please add no more than 5 per day.
So, which of your photos are eligible? First, go to your Photostream. Near the top of the page, you'll see the "Popular" link (just between "Favorites" and "Profile.") Click "Popular," and it will open a page with four tabs at the top: Interesting, Views, Favorites, and Comments. The Interesting tab will reveal your Most Interesting photos in order.
For this group's pool, your top 20 photos are eligible. The order of photos will likely change as you add more photos (and as Flickr changes its mind about which of your pics are Really Interesting). So, come back and add your newly-eligible photos to our pool. What about those that fall out of your top 20?? Leave 'em in the pool. Any photo that has ever been in your top 20 is eligible.
Flickr's About Interestingness page provides some hints on how photos are ranked. There are apparently many factors in Flickr's formula. Also, as that page states, the factors are 'constantly changing.'
Please only add photos that are kid-friendly and Safe for Workplaces (SFW). Also, avoid posting consecutive photos that are extremely similar -- if you really have five close-ups of your dachshund in your top 20, please don't add them all on the same day.
