About Mosaic Stock

The purpose of this group is to provide raw material for makers of photo mosaics.

By including your photo in the group pool, you are granting permission for the photo to be used as a "tile" in a photo mosaic, without attribution.

If you are a maker of photo mosaics, you may use any of the images in this pool as tiles. You are encouraged (but not required) to share your mosaic creations with us in the discussion threads.

You may post as many mosaic tiles as you like to this pool, as long as they conform to the following guidelines:

* Please post your own photographs. Do not post screenshots or computer-generated imagery.

* Do not post near-duplicate photos, such as two photos taken of the same subject a few seconds apart. These will end up appearing next to each in a photomosaic, and make it less interesting.

* Do not post heavily photoshopped or manipulated photographs, or photographs with added borders.

* Do not post photographs with extremely wide or narrow aspect ratios (such as 1 x 9).

* Feel free to show us your photo mosaics in the discussion threads, but do not post photo mosaics to the image pool - the pool is for the tiles only!
