Ch #40 - "Plate, Dish or Saucer" - Discussion

Hi All,
Laura (LauraInSpain) has a new challenge for us: "Plate, Dish or Saucer".
This challenge will start today, August 13, and end October 31, 2010.
If you already have a piece you're in the middle of, you may enter it after it's completed. However, please do not enter any pieces that were completed before today.
This is the place to ask questions and discuss the challenge.

I guess I am a little "thick" today . . . are you asking us to recreate a plate dish or saucer, or to use a plate, dish or saucer, or what? Sorry for being not the sharpest piece of glass on the board!!

Good question, Valerie. I took it as we should mosaic an existing plate, dish or saucer. However, I'll drop Laura a note and ask her to pop in and clarify.

Sounds like fun! I have a plate that I picked up at a thrift shop many moons ago, with the intention of mosaicing it. It's been gathering dust since, so this will be the push I needed to get something done with it!
